Our approach to consulting for private and public clients covers all production and services phases and the entire policy cycle - from concept to implementation and evaluation. Perene Consulting services range from management advice and consulting, capacity development, to evaluation and monitoring. We plan and manage complex projects and programmes for national and international clients and competently advise on environmental and development programmes.


Management Advice

We assist businesses improve their performance by analysing opportunities and challenges of markets, and by analysing organisational problems. To do so we combine strategic commercial thinking with precise, hands-on experience which enables us to deliver exceptionally effective service and advice. Our methodologies and frameworks guide us in the identification of problems and serve in the development of plans for improvement. We advise on business organisation, and business planning and we elaborate strategic advice for long term development and elaborate marketing strategies.  

Project Implementation

We manage projects for our clients professionally and efficiently. In development projects our approach to management is based on the capacity development of people and organisations we work with. Our menu of project management services is based on international standards and we tailor our approach to the size of each specific need. We implement projects from design to closure or offer our services for specific areas of project management.

Monitoring and Evaluation

We evaluate development cooperation programmes and projects according to international standards  and targets of our partner organizations (e.g. DAC standards). In addition to traditional appraisals and assessments we also evaluate complex programmes and policies (e.g. sustainability strategies, trade programmes, or entire regional programmes) for donor agencies, ministries and international organizations. Our methodology aims at enhancing the learning experience and in deepening the understanding, making M&E an imperative tool in project cycle management.

Capacity development

Perene researches, develops and provides evidence-based capacity development approaches, methodologies and innovations. We customize our advice and services based a thorough analysis of  specific capacity needs. We highlight what capacity exists, where it can be strengthened and design and implement appropriate measures to satisfy the capacity needs at the system, organisational and individual level. To achieve our goals we advise on political and institutional framework, provide trainings and transfer technical and organizational know-how.
